The verb as an adjective

B1Verbs · lesson 55 of 79

Both in Dutch and English, there are many ways in which verbs can be part of adjectives or adverbs:

voorspelbaar | predictable | spraakzaam | talkative

slapeloos | sleepless | vervelend | annoying

dromerig | dreamy | bewerkelijk | elaborate
