In Dutch, we have six completely irregular verbs plus five verbs that look like they are completely irregular (while in fact, they are strong verbs).
The verbs above are grouped by their [present tense](#/lesson/Verbs.Re07) conjugations. On the following pages, we will have a look at each of them.
Five somewhat irregular strong verbs
Strictly speaking, the five _gaan, slaan, staan, zien_, and _doen_ are only strong verbs, not completely irregular verbs. However, because their infinitives do not end in the usual -en, their present tense conjugations look somewhat different (albeit regular, just like any other strong verb).
